How to prepare a delicious chicken in the mud

If you have access to being able to buy or raise a hen without as many hormones as the ones we get in the supermarket, you can prepare a typical dish of northern Argentina with which your guests will be not only satisfied, but also entertained.

Ingredients: (For 4 servings)

• a large hen
• 3 green apples
• Juice of 1 lemon
• Salt and pepper
• 1 bucket of clay

Preparation:

Take the chicken and clean it very well. Now take the apples and cut them into quarters and fill the hen with these apples.
Now, bathe all the preparation with the lemon juice and then season with salt and pepper to taste.
The last thing we have left is to take a needle and thread and sew the opening that should be as small as possible. Now we cover the chicken entirely with the mud and place it in the oven for 3 hours.
When removing, we let it cool down until the next day. To serve, we hit the clay with something forceful with a strong and dry blow. This mud will split and the feathers will stick, and the hen will peel.
It only remains to cut the hen into pieces and serve accompanied by green leafy salads.
