There are many parts of meat that we do not know and that we eat out of simple gastronomic ignorance. One of the parts of the veal that usually goes unnoticed is the ossobuco. This delicacy is from Italian origin although it is currently in many stores, due to its rich flavor. It's about the veal shank, an area of the animal's leg.
Today we are going to make ossobuco with mushrooms. We go shopping and know other details necessary for the preparation of the recipe.
Degree of Difficulty: Easy
Preparation time: 1h and a half.
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 8 slices of ossobuco
- white wine
- assorted mushrooms
- oil
- shawl
We already have the basics to prepare today's recipe, curious and delicious, offers the best of beef.
We start by putting roast the ossobuco with a little oil. We let it cook a little, until it turns golden brown.
When we have it golden to the point that we like, we add water to it so that it is made and softened without problems.
Once has passed a good time cooking in water, We test it to see if it needs more cooking. If it is ready we go to the next step.
We have the first part finished, now in another pan we sauté the mushrooms, to taste and add them to the ossobuco.
We let it all be done and we add the white wine. We let the alcohol evaporate and we can let it cook for a few minutes so that the flavors mix.
I can only wish you good luck and that you enjoy this delicacy, sometimes little known, but with a special flavor.
Remember that if you don't want it with mushrooms you can do it alone or with stir-fry.
