Thickened tomato soup with ham and tuna

Cold soups turn out . refreshing in summer. One of my favorites is this thick tomato soup, which has as main ingredients tomatoes, peppers, bread, garlic and olive oil. A simple, inexpensive and quick to prepare dish that you can reserve in the fridge until serving time.

What i like about this tomato soup is that it accepts numerous accompaniments. It can be served with a few cubes of ham, a can of tuna, chopped cooked eggs or simply a few basil leaves and a spoonful of yogurt to make it even more refreshing. Do you dare to prepare it?

The thick tomato soup with ham and tuna that we prepare today is simple, inexpensive and can be prepared in 15 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 700g. ripe pear tomatoes
  • 75g. old bread with dense crumb
  • Water glass 1
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ red pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sherry vinager
  • shawl
  • Ham cubes
  • 1 tin of tuna

Preparation
  1. An hour before preparing the soup, we put the bread to soak in water
  2. We also prepare the tomatoes scalding them for a couple of minutes and then immersing them in cold water before peeling them.
  3. Once we have all the ingredients prepared, we place the tomatoes, the slightly drained bread, the pepper, the garlic, the oil, the vinegar and the salt in a bowl and we grind them until you get a smooth but thick soup.
  4. Rectify the salt, We add some more seasoning if desired and reserve it in the fridge so that it is cold when it is time to be served.
  5. Then, we incorporate our accompaniment Favourite. In my case, a can of tuna and some ham cubes.
