Ingredients
- Leftover meat from the pot (chicken, beef, etc.)
- 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 glasses of broth
- ½ glass of milk
- 2 eggs
- Bread crumbs
- Nutmeg to taste
Preparation
- In a frying pan with a little hot olive oil, we add the very minced meat. We throw the flour little by little and we are stirring. We add a little more olive oil if necessary.
- Then we add the broth little by little without stopping stirring and when the dough begins to thicken, add half a glass of milk. We do not stop stirring so that we do not get lumps.
- We remove from the fire and add the nutmeg, stir and pour the total of the dough into a source and let it rest and cool for about half an hour.
- Then when the dough has cooled down, with two tablespoons we are taking dough and forming the croquettes. We pass them through the beaten eggs and breadcrumbs. And we finish shaping it with the help of our hands.
- The next and last step is to fry them in very hot oil.
