Spinach tortillas
French omelets are one of the dishes that are most used to give to the little ones in the house when they are little. In addition, these can be done with a food combination very interesting for them, such as cheese, tuna, ham, sausagesEtc.
Therefore, today we give you the idea to make some mini spinach omelets to introduce them to the vegetable intake. These mini omelets are very attractive for them and their flavor is very succulent for the whole family. You can accompany it with any sauce.
Ingredients
- 250 g of fresh spinach.
- 1 clove garlic.
- 1/4 of onion or chives.
- 2 eggs.
- Cheese wedge.
- Olive oil.
- Pinch of salt.
Preparation
Firstly, we will mince both the garlic clove and the onion in small dice so that the little ones do not notice it too much. In addition, we will wash the spinach well under the tap.
In a small frying pan, we will brown with little oil olive the clove and the chopped onion. When it begins to take color, add the spinach and cook for about 5 minutes. We will set aside on a strainer to remove the excess oil and water and let it temper.
In a bowl, we will put this spinach sauce and add the 2 eggs and the wedge of grated cheese. We will stir well and add the salt to taste.
Finally, we will heat a small pan with little oil and we will add small portions of this 'dough' with a spoon, spreading these tortillas well. We will let it set on one side and we will turn it over to set on the other.
