Lemon and orange threads

When we make a citrus or chocolate cake we don't know how to decorate it. Today here I leave you citrus threads that in addition to decorating are edible and will give a special touch to your favorite recipes

Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced ​​lemon and orange peels
  • 1 cup of lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of glucose

Procedures

Cook the peels and boil them 3 times (5 minutes at a time) changing the water. Then cook 30 more minutes or until they are transparent, put them with the lemon and add the water, sugar and glucose. Mix everything, remove and leave to dry on a rack.
