Un homemade pudding from harvest, a dessert very similar to flan but enriched with pastries that have become a bit dry, such as muffins, cookies, cakes and even bread from the day before. With this recipe we can take advantage of leftovers and not throw anything away.

Una  homemade no-oven pudding recipe, easy and simple, a good dessert. To make it more festive you can accompany it with raisins, dehydrated fruits, chocolate, cream….

Ingredients
  • 2 envelopes of flan preparation
  • 1 liter of milk
  • Sugar, the amount indicated on the prepared envelope
  • 300 gr. of cakes, muffins, cookies, bread ...
  • 150 gr. sugar or liquid caramel already prepared
  • A lemon
  • To decorate:
  • Candied fruits, chocolate, cream, raisins ...

Preparation
  1. We will start by preparing the caramel, in a saucepan we put the sugar and a little water and a few drops of lemon, when the caramel is there we will put it in a mold where we are going to prepare the flan.
  2. We will prepare the flan following the instructions that the envelopes put.
  3. We take the mold where we have put the caramel, cut the buns into thin slices and put a layer on top of the caramel.
  4. We put part of the flan and place another layer of pastries and the rest of the flan. We let it warm a little and we will put it in the refrigerator until it sets, 4-5 hours.
  5. When it is only it remains to unmold it carefully and put it in a source, garnish it with fruits, chocolate shavings, cream ...
  6. If you leave it overnight, it is much better. And if you still want to give a touch with more flavor, you can moisten the pieces of cakes a little with some liquor that you like, always taking into account that a child is not going to consume it.
