It is not the first time that I publish in Cooking Recipes a cookie recipeRound-shaped cookies that often contain pieces of chocolate. We recently prepared some stuffed with Nutella, you remember? Today we prepare a simpler version with milk chocolate chips.

The good thing about these cookies is that they are easy to prepare. The dough is solid and is manipulated with the hands; no cutters or guns are required. In addition, other ingredients can be easily incorporated into the dough; nuts are common. Do you dare to try them?

Ingredients
  • 115 g. of butter
  • 160 g. white sugar
  • 30 g. fine brown sugar
  • 1 egg L
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 170 g. all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chip

Preparation
  1. We beat the butter with the sugar until a creamy mixture is achieved.
  2. We incorporate the egg and the vanilla and beat to integrate.
  3. Then we add the flour, cornstarch, bicarbonate and salt and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
  4. Finally, we integrate the chips of chocolate.
  5. We catch portions of dough with a spoon or with your hands and we are depositing them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper with a certain distance between them.
  6. Then we flatten them slightly and bake 10-12 minutes, depending if we want them more or less golden.
  7. We remove from the oven and let it rest 10 minutes before transfer them to a rack so that they finish cooling down.
