Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
This has been the first time I have tried the peanut butter. Yes, after watching movies for 30 years in which this cream is the protagonist, I have gotten a pot to make these delicious cookies. A peanut cookies with a salty touch that will surprise you.
These cookies have nothing to do with others that we have prepared on these pages: melting butter cookies, campurrianas or american cookies, among many. Making them is quick and easy, so there is no excuse not to try them. With a touch of chocolate they will be irresistible.
Ingredients
For 12-15 cookies
- 50 gr. margarine
- 100 gr. peanut butter
- 75 gr. brown sugar
- 100 gr. Of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tbsp. oat milk, rice, soy, or water
- 25 gr. chopped salted peanuts
For finishing
- 25 gr. salted peanuts (optional)
- 1/2 tablet of 70% dark Chocolate
Crafting
We preheat the oven at 180 ° C.
We beat the margarine, peanut butter and sugar until creamy.
We incorporate the rest of the ingredients until forming a soft dough.
We form balls the size of a walnut with the dough and place them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper; with enough space between them. Smash them lightly with a fork to mark the surface or by hand.
We put some peanuts on the surface of them, pressing lightly so that they do not come off when baked.
Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
We take them out of the oven and keep them on the tray for a few minutes so that they harden before let cool completely on a rack.
As they cool down we melt the chocolate either in a water bath or in the microwave.
When the cookies are cold and with the help of a spoon, we decorate them with some chocolate strands and we let it harden.
