Chicken breasts stuffed with chorizo and cheese in sauce

Little fillets stuffed with chorizo and cheese

The chicken steaks are very versatile, since they can be fill in what we like the most. For this reason, I wanted to make them an explosion of Iberian flavor with a good chorrizo from my town. These stuffed with said chorizo and a large semi-cured cheese, is a delicacy that melts in your mouth.

In addition, since the breasts are usually a bit dry, we have accompanied them with an Italian cheese sauce to give that last touch of splendid flavor. This would be a great recipe for one of the romantic or intimate dinners that couples love, so take note.

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breast fillets.
  • 1 piece of chorizo.
  • 1/4 wedge of semi-cured cheese.
  • Olive oil.
  • Salt

For cheese sauce:

  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1 brick of cream.
  • 100 g of Italian cheese.
  • Salt
  • Parsley.
  • Oregano.

Preparation

First, we must back sea (beat with a mallet or rolling pin) the chicken breasts between parchment paper. This is so that the breasts are thinner to cook faster and much larger so that they can be rolled without difficulty.

On the other hand, we will cut the chorizo and the semi-cured cheese in sticks of 1 cm square. In addition, we will carry out the cheese sauce. To do this, put the milk and cream in a saucepan and let it boil over low heat for a few minutes. Then, we will add the diced Italian cheese and stir with a few rods to break up and create a creamy sauce. Also, we will add the spices.

Then, we will fill the breasts. We will put them on a flat surface and we will place a chorizo stick and a cheese stick and wrap it, sealing it with a pair of toothpicks.

Finally, we will place the chicken rolls In a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil and toast them on all sides, so that they finish cooking. For the plating, serve them together with a little cheese sauce.
