The other day we presented you with an ideal recipe for children to eat more vegetables. It was an aubergine cake, which you can see if you click here. However, the recipe that we bring you today is the same only that we have changed the aubergine for the zucchini and we have added some mushrooms.

Although it is a laborious recipe, it is simple to make and if you follow the step by step and correctly add the measure of the ingredients, it will come out a delicious zucchini and mushroom cake. You want to try?

Ingredients
  • 2 zucchini
  • 150 grams of mushrooms
  • Sliced ​​York Ham
  • Sliced ​​cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Fried tomato sauce
  • 200 ml of milk
  • Grated cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Black pepper
  • Sal Island

Preparation
  1. The first step will be wash the zucchini, cut the ends and make sheets with them about half a centimeter thick. When we have cut these slices, we will grill them with a little olive oil and salt.
  2. In another pan we will go with a little olive oil, the mushrooms. And once we have these two things done, all we have to do is place sheet by sheet each of the aforementioned ingredients.
  3. Meanwhile, we put the oven to preheat to 180 ºC.
  4. In a glass tray suitable for the oven we will place a base of fried tomato, and then we will add a layer of zucchini. On top of this layer we will add another bit of fried tomato, and later the slices of ham and cheese. And so we will be placing until we finish with all the zucchini sheets. About halfway through the cake, add the layer of mushrooms.
  5. Then with the 200 ml of milk we add the 3 eggs, salt and pepper. We stir well and add the mixture to our glass container with the rest of the ingredients. The last step will be to add the grated cheese and put in the oven (preheated) for about 35-40 minutes.
  6. And ready to eat!
