Grapefruit is the great forgotten fruit, it is a shame since it has many properties and a flavor that, although it is strong in its right measure, can be very surprising in our dishes. In a classic cake such as yogurt it is very good, since it incorporates the acidity, perfume and bitterness at the end of this fruit.
From time to time we buy a couple of grapefruits, for sauces, cakes ... This basic cake recipe is perfect for breakfast or a snack, and of course we can add a handful of nuts or chocolate drops. Go for the recipe!

Ingredients
- 1 natural yogurt
- olive oil (1 measure of yogurt)
- sugar (2 measures of yogurt)
- flour (3 measures of yogurt)
- 3 eggs
- 1 sachet of chemical yeast (16gr)
- the juice of a grapefruit and its zest
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- In a bowl add the eggs together with the sugar and beat well until the mixture turns white.
- Add the yogurt, the juice of a grapefruit and the oil. Beat very well.
- Now is the time to sift the flour and yeast over our bowl, once it is integrated we have our dough ready for the yogurt and grapefruit cake.
- Put the cake dough in the chosen mold, grate some of the grapefruit skin and put it on the dough.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes! To check that the cooking is correct, prick the cake with a clean toothpick or knife and check that it comes out clean and not damp.
- Let cool and eat!
