Although in my house we do not usually make many meals with cauliflower (it produces abdominal bloating due to the gases it causes) when we buy it there are two ways in which we really like its taste: one is in the form of a salad accompanying it with other vegetables as can be cucumber or lettuce, or in this way that we present today: Spiced Cauliflower Scramble. Scrambled because we add egg and spicy because we like to season it with more than one and more than two species. It gives a special flavor.
If you want to know how we have made them and what are those species that we have used, stay and read the rest of the article.
- 1 cauliflower
- 2 eggs
- 3 garlic
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- White pepper
- Water
- Sal Island
- Olive oil
- In a large pot, we put boil our cauliflower with plenty of water already peeled and cut into small cubes. Go pricking with a fork to check the hardness and set aside when it is to your liking.
- Once boiled, we drain it and set aside and meanwhile, in a pan with a little olive oil, let's sautéing 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped into thin strips. When they have browned, we add the cauliflower to the pan and stir it every little bit.
- We add salt, garlic powder, white pepper and sweet paprika. We add a level teaspoon of the latter and the rest is to your liking.
- We stir and when we are about to set aside, we add the 2 eggs, with which we will make the scrambled eggs. Wait 5 more minutes over medium heat and set aside when the egg is done and blended with the cauliflower.
- Enjoy yourself!
