Today I bring you this delicious and appetizing savory chicken curry pie, a version of the traditional Quiche of French cuisine. Besides being delicious and perfect for any occasion, the preparation is very simple and with little complication. On the other hand, the filling of this savory cake admits hundreds of varieties, making it perfect as a use kitchen.

Everything that you have in the refrigerator and you don't know how to use it, will be perfect in this type of dish. The base also admits changes, in this case, I have used shortening, but You can also use fresh puff pastry and it will be perfect. You can even prepare the puff pastry yourself and it will be even tastier. The trick so that the base does not break is to bake for 5 minutes before incorporating the rest of the ingredients. Ingredients
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 150 gr of sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 100 gr of serrano ham tacos
  • 150 ml of liquid cream
  • diced assorted cheese or grated cheese for gratin
  • 2 eggs L
  • 1 sheet of shortcrust pastry
  • Curry powder
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper
  • Virgin olive oil

Preparation
  1. First we are going to clean the breast well, removing the excess fat.
  2. Cut the chicken into small portions, like a bite, season and add a tablespoon of curry powder.
  3. We prepare a frying pan with enough depth, we put a base of olive oil and we bring to the fire.
  4. Sauté the chicken cubes until well done.
  5. Meanwhile, we are cleaning the mushrooms very well, drain the water and reserve.
  6. When the chicken is ready, add the mushrooms, a pinch of salt and fry them for a few minutes.
  7. Add the ham tacos and leave for a minute, remove from the heat and reserve.
  8. We put the oven to preheat to about 200 degrees.
  9. Now we are going to prepare the mold for the cake, we place the shortening sheet on top and adjust well.
  10. Prick the bottom with a fork and put in the oven for about 4 or 5 minutes.
  11. After that time, we remove the mold and let it temper.
  12. In a bowl, beat the two eggs and add the liquid cream.
  13. Season and beat very well.
  14. To continue, we place the filling in the mold, distributing all the ingredients well on the bottom.
  15. Now, we add the mixture of eggs and cream and move slightly to distribute it well.
  16. To finish, add a few cubes of cheese and put in the oven for about 15 or 20 minutes or until we see that the mixture has set well.
