Rice with mushrooms and sausages

Today we prepare a rich rice with mushrooms and sausages, a rice dish with a lot of flavor and very seasonal. If you like mushrooms, this rice is very good with them, you have to take advantage of the seasonal mushrooms.

Preparing rice is very simpleIt can be made with many ingredients, the best known is rice with seafood or meat, you can make anything you like, rice combines very well with everything.

In this case it is a winter rice, for meat and mushrooms. I have put sausage, it is a thicker sausage, if you do not have meat you can put meat, the pork rib goes very well with this dish.

Ingredients
  • 350 grams of rice
  • 1 tray of mushrooms (can be varied)
  • 7-8 sausages
  • 1 cebolla
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1,200 l. meat or vegetable broth or water

Preparation
  1. To prepare the rice with mushrooms and sausages, first we chop the very small onion and the garlic.
  2. We put a saucepan to make the rice over medium heat with a jet of oil, add the onion, let it poach.
  3. Halfway through the onion cooking we will add the minced garlic.
  4. When the garlic begins to brown, add the fried tomato, stir everything and mix. Let everything cook for a few minutes.
  5. On the other hand we clean the mushrooms and cut them into pieces.
  6. We put a pan with a little oil and sauté the mushrooms, once they are a little golden, we take them out and reserve.
  7. When the tomato has been cooked with everything together, add the mushrooms and saffron. We remove everything.
  8. We add almost all the broth, when it starts to boil we add the rice and a little salt. Let it cook for 15-18 minutes, depending on the rice and as you like. If we see that broth is needed we will add a little more.
  9. When the rice is ready, turn off and let it rest for 5 minutes and serve.
