Rice salad, serrano ham and apple
The heat of this past week invited us to prepare somewhat fresher and lighter meals. This is how this rice salad with improvised ingredients and a great soy vinaigrette. Serrano ham, apple and cheese complete the ingredients. A curious combination, right?
Combining ingredients that one does not know how they will fit together can be a risk, but it can also give you great surprises. So it happened this time; after taking this and that I made a harvest recipe which I will probably repeat. Quick to make and fresh, it can be served as a single dish for lunch or dinner.

Crafting
We start by cooking the rice. We put plenty of water in a saucepan and wait for it to boil over and over to add the rice. We cook 10-15 minutes, depending on the variety. Then we drain and we wash the rice with the help of a strainer under the stream of cold water. We booked.
Meanwhile, we cut the ham and we fry it in the pan.
We also take advantage of prepare the vinaigrette. To do this, we mix all the ingredients and lightly beat them.
Once we have the cold rice, we place it as a base on the plate or the source where we are going to serve it. We place the ham on top and then some slices of unpeeled apple. We finished by distributing some slices of cheese and sprinkling the rice salad with the soy vinaigrette.
