Who is to diet here? Is there anyone with fluid retention? Because the recipe that I bring today is dedicated especially for you! Is a hot that surely all of you will know or at least have heard / read something about him, made on the basis of vegetables that give a little boost to those liquids that we sometimes retain for some reason (too much time standing or sitting, excessive heat, not drinking enough water, etc).

The latter is contradictory, right? I'll explain: When we don't drink enough water our body tends to accumulate it "just in case" that's why, when you want prevent or eliminate fluid retention, one of the first recommendations is to drink a lot of water.

And with that said, let's go with the recipe!.

Preparation time: 25-30 minutes.

Ingredients for about 2 liters of broth:

  • 3 courgettes
  • 3 carrots
  • Media onion
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pepper
  • Sal Island

Preparation:

In a pot, heat the olive oil and simmer the diced onion.

When it is transparent we add 1,5 liters of water and, while it is heating, we clean and cut the carrots and zucchini into very small pieces. If you do not peel the zucchini better, this way you will take advantage of all its nutrients. Once the water starts to boil, add the vegetables, pepper and salt *.

* It is advisable not to add salt or, in case it is impossible, try to make it a minimum amount. This is because salt contains sodium, which does just the opposite effect of what we are looking for with this broth.

When the vegetables are ready we take a little and we pass them through the blender. This is optional, I do it like this to give the broth a bit of consistency and color, but you can not do it or you can even put everything through the blender and that's it.

In case you have stayed with the first option, add that small part that you passed through the mixer to the rest of the broth and mix.

Recipe suggestions:

  • You can drink this broth from time to time or you can dedicate a day to purify your body. In that case, we would have to have a complete but healthy breakfast (based on fruits, cereals and some dairy), at lunch we would have the broth and a grilled fish or chicken fillet seasoned with lemon (without salt), in the snack You can opt for whole wheat bread and green tea and for dinner we return to the broth, ending with a piece of fruit.
  • It can be made with other ingredients, as long as they have the purifying function, such as celery, parsley or pepper, you can combine them in the way you like best.
