Puff pastry cake with tomatoes

We are going to prepare a puff pastry coca with tomatoes, a delicious and crunchy coca. As Valentine's Day approaches, I gave the puff pastry a heart shape to make a slightly special coca. An ideal coca to prepare as a starter in a meal or for an informal dinner or for a special dinner, these cocas are great.

This puff pastry coca with tomatoes It is a healthy recipe that we can accompany with more vegetables, put grated cheese, anchovies, tuna ... We can make it very varied and to our liking.

Ingredients
  • Rectangular puff pastry
  • 3-4 ripe tomatoes
  • Fried tomato
  • black olives
  • Oil, salt, pepper
  • Rosemary, basil, oregano ...

Preparation
  1. We will stretch the rectangular puff pastry and put it in a baking dish, with the help of a heart-shaped mold, we will cut a large one or we can make them smaller individual.
  2. We cut the dough and leave it on the baking paper. We will prick with a fork all over.
  3. We will cover the entire dough with fried tomato.
  4. We cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
  5. We will put them around the entire dough until it is completely covered.
  6. When it is, we will put a drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper, some olives and the herbs that you like the most such as oregano, basil, pepper….
  7. We will have the oven on at 180º and we will put the coca until it is well toasted.
  8. When it is ready we take it out, we can put a drizzle of olive oil on top and serve.
  9. They can be made with smaller individual molds, it will look great.
  10. And it will be ready to eat !!!
