Looking at this dish and having tried and tasted it before, is there anyone in the world who does not like a good fideua with clams and prawns? I answer myself: sure there will be, because to taste the colors, but it is such a, so exquisite dish (in my opinion) that I find it hard to believe that there are people who do not like it ... Anyway! Reflections aside, today's recipe as you can see is overwhelming, a very complete dish that can be eaten at any time of the year, ...
If you are one of those who, like me, enjoy this type of dish, then we will give you ingredients and preparation ... Make the recipe, and tell us what you think about its flavor ...
- 250 grams of thick noodles
- 150 grams of noodles for fideua
- 200 grams of peeled prawns
- 250 grams of clams
- 1 liter of water
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 cebolla
- 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 1 fish stock cube
- Paprika
- Olive oil
- Sal Island
- The first thing we will do is put a liter of water to heat together with the shrimp shells that we have previously peeled and a fish stock cube. The result of this, previously cast, will be our broth for the fideua.
- While the broth is making, we put in a pot, the onion to fry together with the two garlic cloves, all cut very fine. When it is fried, add the 3 tablespoons tomato sauce, peeled prawns and clams. We leave it for 5 minutes over medium heat. We are stirring every little bit.
- The following will be add to the pot the broth that we will strain previously, and let the flavors mix for another 5 minutes over low heat.
- Next we will take the thick noodles and 5 minutes later, the fideua noodles, since the first ones take a little longer to make.
- We put on medium heat again and let it cook for approximately 10-15 minutes. We add the salt and sweet paprika (A teaspoon). We are checking that they do not run out of broth. If this happens we add a little water and taste the salt.
- We will set aside when the noodles are to your liking.
