Croquettes are one of my favorite foods for children's dinners since they are very easy to make and very versatile. These are made with prawns and mushrooms, so we introduce this combination of shellfish and mushrooms to the little ones.
Shrimp and mushroom croquettes
Croquettes are a very versatile food since they can take everything. Thus, we eat healthy food with vegetables, greens and others just without realizing it.

Ingredients
- 20 cooked prawns.
- 1 can of sliced mushrooms.
- ½ onion.
- 1-2 tablespoons of flour.
- Milk.
- Pinch of salt.
- Olive oil.
Preparation
- We will finely chop the prawns and mushrooms laminated.
- We will chop the small diced onion and we will fry it in a non-stick frying pan together with a good drizzle of olive oil.
- We will add the flour and we will mix it to cook it a little.
- We will incorporate the milk little by little so that lumps do not form, until you get a kind of béchamel.
- We will add the prawns and mushrooms chopped and mix well to integrate.
- We will remove the mass from the fire and we will set aside on a plate to cool down.
- We will take portions of dough and make little balls, which we will go through beaten egg and breadcrumbs and then fry them.
- Remove on absorbent paper.
Notes
The croquettes can be frozen once breaded for later ingestion.
