On a weekend like this, leaden, it couldn't be more appropriate to potato and cod stew that we propose today. A simple, tasty and comforting dish of those of a lifetime that during the winter always has a place in my monthly menu. And in yours?

The ingredients are simple and so is the preparation. We cannot tell you that it does not take time but in an hour you can have a two-day meal ready. You can keep it in the fridge for 3 or 4 days or freeze it to use it one day when you want something warm when you get home.

Ingredients
  • 300 g. desalted cod
  • 5 large potatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika sweet
  • Wheat
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Water or fish broth

Preparation
  1. We dry the pieces of cod well, we polish them and we fry in a casserole over medium-high heat with olive oil. Once golden, we take them out and put them on an absorbent paper. We booked.
  2. We chop the garlic, we peel the potatoes and we click them. We fry the whole in the same casserole that we have fried the cod.
  3. Add the paprika and stir out of the fire.
  4. Immediately after, we cover with water or fish broth. Add the cod, raise the heat and wait for it to boil.
  5. So we lower the fire and cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  6. To finish we shake the casserole so that the potatoes release starch and thicken the broth.
  7. We correct the salt point and decorate with parsley before serving.
