Plum slush

To prepare this healthy recipe for granita we will use plums with vitamin and mineral content as healthy food, but if you want to vary the flavor you can use strawberries, apricots or peaches or other fruit of your choice and savor different preparations during the week.

Ingredients:

500 grams of plums
200 grams of sugar
zest of 1 lemon
2 water glasses

Preparation:

Wash the plums and cut them into small pieces. Put them in the blender or processor glass until they are crushed and store this preparation in the refrigerator. In a pot, pour the 2 glasses of water, the sugar, the lemon zest and bring to a boil over low heat for 10 minutes.

Then take the pot off the heat and let this syrup cool. Once cold, mix it with the prune puree and let it rest for 2 or 3 hours. Pass it through a strainer, pour it into a pitcher and take the slushie into the freezer of the refrigerator until it is about to freeze. Serve chilled in tall glasses.
