Ingredients
- 300 gr. Of flour
- 100 gr. butter at room temperature
- The juice of half an orange
- Peel of an orange
- 1 egg
- 125 gr. sugar
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- Powdered sugar
- Chocolate chips
Preparation
- To make the orange and chocolate chip cookies, we will start by putting the butter and sugar in a bowl, beating well until we have a very creamy mixture. Next, add the egg and mix.
- On the other hand, grate an orange and extract the juice from half an orange. Add it to the mixture and stir well until everything is well integrated.
- We add the yeast to the flour, we will add this little by little to the previous mixture, we will mix little by little and integrate it well.
- There should be a consistent dough, but a little sticky, that still cannot be handled well. If it is too light, add more flour. Add the chocolate chips to the dough. We leave the dough in the bowl and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes so that it takes on more consistency.
- We turn on the oven at 180ºC heat up and down. We take a baking tray, put a sheet of parchment paper. We take out the cookie dough and form balls, we put them on the tray a little apart from each other.
- We put it in the oven and let it bake for about 10-12 minutes, it will depend on the thickness of the cookie or when we see that it is around the golden cookie, it is already done. When you touch it, it is hard on the outside and tender on the inside. Don't leave it in the oven too long or it will get hard.
- Remove the cookies from the oven, let cool and ready.
