Homemade nuggets, great for kids' dinner
Nuggets are the children's favorite food, with the consequent bombardment of fried foods and additives contained in frozen foods, especially those of this type.
Therefore, today I have brought you this recipe for homemade nuggets, where fresh food and no additives or preservatives are used, to maintain a healthy diet in the children while still eating what they like.
Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast.
- 3 slices of cheese.
- 3 slices of sliced bread.
- 1/2 glass of milk.
- Salt
- 1/2 small onion.
- Flour for coating.
For batter of nuggets:
- 1 glass of flour.
- 1/2 tablespoon of minced garlic.
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme.
- 1/2 sweet paprika.
- Salt
- Milk.
Preparation
To make this delicious healthy homemade nugget recipe, the first thing we have to do is chop the onion and cut the chicken breast into small cubes.
Later, in a mixing glass, we place the onion and the minced chicken and add salt, the 3 slices of cheese, the sliced bread and half a glass of milk and, we crush everything very well until we get a homogeneous dough. This dough is very sticky so it can be somewhat difficult to beat it.
Later we will carry out the breaded of the nuggets. To do this, in a bowl, we will place all the ingredients that I have put for you and we will stir everything well. Lastly, we will add the milk little by little until we get a somewhat light béchamel cream.
We will take portions of dough and we will pass them through that batter and then through flour. You have to shape it with your hands, I advise you to flatten it a little so that it does not cost to fry it later. In particular, I like to freeze them one day in the freezer so that when it is time to fry it, it does not crumble, although you can fry it directly.
Finally, if you freeze it, you must remove it from the freezer just at the same time that you put the fryer, so that they lose their hardness. I hope you like these homemade nuggets that I have made especially for the little ones in the house.
