During the weekend we usually prepare a pizza, sandwich or sandwich at home for dinner. It is usually Friday when we enjoy a more informal dinner. A week ago we turned to this mustard tenderloin sandwich, a simple, tender and tasty proposal.
The main ingredient of the sandwich is the loin with fried mustard. However, this is not the only ingredient; the cranberry jam, onion, arugula, and cheese also contribute to its flavor. This time I have chosen a slightly more special bread, but a sliced bread with seeds is usually my favorite for this type of preparation.
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 fresh tenderloin steaks
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Breadcrumbs for breading
- 1-2 slices of cheese
- 2 tablespoons of onion in julienne
- 1 tablespoon of blueberry jam
- 1 handful of arugula, chopped
- Olive oil
- We mix in a bowl mustard, oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Spread the tenderloin fillets with the mixture on both sides.
- Next, we pass the steaks for breadcrumbs, pressing lightly so that it adheres better.
- We fry the steaks in oil, about 4 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
- We place the loin fillets on the bread and on these, the cheese so that it melts with the heat.
- Then we put the onion, the jam and finally the arugula.
- We place the lid and serve.
