Low calories: carrot omelette

We will prepare a healthy recipe for all those who must follow a low-calorie diet that is easy to carry out with the contribution of all the nutritional properties that carrots provide us, incorporating the proteins contained in the egg whites into this preparation.

Ingredients:

250 grams of carrots
Egg whites 2
water, amount needed
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons grated cheese (low calories)
ground pepper, a pinch
vegetable spray, amount needed

Preparation:

In a pot, place the carrots, peeled and cut into small pieces and cook them until they are tender. Then drain and set aside. In another pot, place a splash of water, add the onion and cook for a few moments. When the onion is cooked add it to the cooked carrots and grated cheese (reduced in calories).

In a bowl, just beat the whites with a pinch of pepper and add them to the previous mixture and stir all the ingredients. Place the mixture in a source with vegetable spray and cook the tortilla in the oven for a few minutes until the whites coagulate. You withdraw it and you can already taste it.
