How do you like salads at this time of year? This week we have also suffered high temperatures in the north, which has led us to resort to fresh recipes like this salad of buds with orange and potato. A simple salad that you can leave ready in the morning and enjoy when you come back from the beach.
There are few ingredients in this salad; specifically four: lettuce hearts, potatoes, tuna and orange. Very simple ingredients that can be found in any supermarket and that many of us normally have in our pantry. Which allows us to improvise it.
Being the salad so simple, you could play with the dressing if you wanted to give this a special touch. At home we have taken advantage of an oil flavored with garlic that they gave us recently. I think that garlic fits very well with this combination of ingredients, so do not hesitate to add a little finely minced garlic to the dressing.
The recipe
- 1 large or 2 small buds
- 2 naranjas
- 2 cooked potatoes
- 1 can of tuna
- Garlic seasoned oil
- Salt and pepper
- We cut the bud in four or in two, depending on its size and place the pieces in a bowl.
- Then peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into pieces, adding these to the source.
- Then we peel the oranges and we take out the slices so that they are very clean using a sharp knife.
- Add both the orange segments and the shredded tuna on salad.
- To finish we salt and pepper with oil seasoned with garlic.
- We enjoyed the lettuce heart salad with orange and fresh potato.
