The carrot is a vegetable light and easily digestible both raw and cooked. A very healthy food due to its excellent beta-carotene (provitamin A) content. Today in Recipes de cocina we prepare it roasted wrapped in a soft layer of butter and honey.

You can use any variety of carrots, however the baby variety is the most "flirtatious" in case you want to present the dish at any celebration.
- 6 peeled carrots
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter (or extra virgin olive oil)
- 2 level tablespoons heather honey (or any other variety)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Sal Island
- Ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of chopped parsley
- We preheat the oven at 200ºC
- In a bowl we mix the butter melted, honey, minced garlic and prejil. Season and mix.
- We smear the carrots with the mixture and arrange them on the oven tray, lined with baking paper.
- We pour over the excess mixture and the we take to the oven for about 25 minutes.
