Honey lamb with plums
Hello everyone! Today I bring you one original and rich recipe that will not leave your guests indifferent. The honey lamb with plums mixes sweet and salty flavors, which gives it a very original touch and makes it a star dish for family gatherings.
Difficulty level: Easy
Preparation time: 1 hour approx.
Ingredients:
- 1 leg of lamb, sliced
- 1 cebolla
- Carrots 2
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 celery branch
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
- Prunes
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Ras el hanout
- Cinnamon
- Saffron
- Pepper
Preparation:
We put the honey and butter to heat so that they melt and we add 2 cloves of garlic, crushed or finely chopped, salt and a teaspoon of ras el hanout. We spread the lamb with this and leave it for at least one hour to take on flavor.
Put the other two garlic cloves minced with oil in the pot, add the lamb and brown it well on both sides. Then we add water to cover it, add salt, pepper, a little ras el hanout, a pinch of cinnamon, saffron, carrots, celery and whole or halved onion. We close the pot and leave it on a low heat (but boiling) for 40 minutes.
When finished, we remove the vegetables and add the prunes, leave it uncovered for 10 more minutes over low heat and that's it !.

I've made your recipe for holiday party food, and it came out really good. I have to clarify that since it did not fit in the pressure cooker, I had it for about two hours or a little more until the meat was very tender. In the end I did not remember to put the plums, but they were not missing, because as is it was already very good.
