Puff pastry canes with Nutella

Today I bring some puff pastry canes stuffed with Nutella, a simple recipe that we can prepare in a short time. They are also known as napolitanas, a puff pastry filled with chocolate that everyone will like at home, a good dessert or breakfast to accompany coffee.

The canes can be filled with other creams, creams, jams and garnish them with nuts, powdered sugar, even covered in chocolate, they are delicious. Encourage you to approve them you will love them !!!

Ingredients
  • A rectangular puff pastry sheet
  • Hazelnut spread (Nutella)
  • 1 egg to paint the puff pastry
  • Rolled almonds
  • Powdered sugar
  • Chocolate noodles

Preparation
  1. We place the puff pastry sheet on the surface of the kitchen, sprinkle with a little flour so that it does not stick to us.
  2. We will cut the dough into rectangular portions, the size will be to suit each one.
  3. We prepare the hazelnut cream, put a quantity in a bowl and put it in the microwave for a few seconds so that it is softer and can be spread more easily,
  4. Take a tablespoon of cream and put it in the center of each puff pastry rectangle, spread it a little over the puff pastry with the help of a spatula, fold the puff pastry into a cane shape.
  5. We will put them on a baking sheet.
  6. We beat the egg and paint them with a kitchen brush on the surface of each cane, sprinkle with sugar and we will put the rolled almonds in a few, in other chocolate noodles, other nuts ...
  7. Bake the plate at 180ºC for about 15 minutes or until golden brown, remove from the oven and sprinkle with icing sugar.
  8. We will let cool and they will be ready to eat !!!
