Fried milk

How do I bring you a recipe for fried milk, a dessert that cannot be missed these days of Easter.
La fried milk is a dessert which is very good. It seems very complicated at first glance but it is not like that, it is very simple. You just have to have a little patience when we are with the cream so that it is done slowly so that it does not make lumps and it is a fine and rich cream.
Fried milk that I propose is made with starch, you can find it in any shopping center, but you can use cornstarch, it also looks good. I have not put an egg in the dough either, it only takes it in the batter. In itself it is a dessert made of milk, starch or flour and sugar.
As you can see, we can prepare a rich traditional dessert to enjoy these days.

Ingredients
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 180 gr. sugar
  • 120 gr. starch or cornstarch
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece of lemon peel
  • To batter:
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 gr. starch or flour
  • 100 gr. sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • Mild oil for frying

Preparation
  1. We will separate a glass from the liter of milk and reserve. We will put the rest to heat in a saucepan with the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel, let it cook over low heat for a few minutes, turn off and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. We remove the lemon peel and the cinnamon stick and we return the saucepan to the fire with the sugar, we will stir. We will have low fire. Where we have the rest of the milk we dissolve the starch.
  3. When the milk is very hot, add the milk with the starch, with a few rods, stirring the mixture without stopping over a very low heat, until it is like a thick and smooth cream, about 15 minutes.
  4. When we see that it is done, we turn off the fire, prepare a square mold. Wet it with a little water or butter and add the cream, cover with film, let it warm and put it in the fridge until it sets for 3-4 hours or overnight.
  5. After this time we take it out and cut it into square pieces.
  6. We will prepare a plate with the flour and another with the beaten egg and we will pass the pieces, first through flour and then through the egg.
  7. We will put a pan with plenty of oil on the fire and when it is hot we will fry the pieces of cream.
  8. We will take them out and transfer them to a plate with kitchen paper.
  9. We will have prepared a dish with sugar and cinnamon, we will coat the pieces.
  10. And ready to serve !!!
