Tomato and mozarella salad, Also known as caprese salad, a typical Neapolitan dish.  There are also many variants of this salad, since you can add any other ingredient, but the known one only has these ingredients, it is very simple and rich. A very Mediterranean salad. It is simple and quick to prepare. Now that there are good tomatoes, you have to take advantage of it to prepare great summer dishes. This time, we were inspired by Bon Viveur's caprese salad recipe.

A good tomato and fresh cheese is a delight to start a meal and if you like fresh basil, this salad is very good, it gives it a very good different flavor. You can also put the dried basil.

Served as a starter, it is a fresh dish ideal for summer.

Ingredients
  • 4 tomates

Preparation
  1. To prepare the tomato and mozarella salad, we prepare all the ingredients, we will keep them in the fridge until it is time to make or serve it, it must be very cool when it is time to eat it.
  2. We wash and cut the tomatoes into slices. Cut the mozarella cheese into 1 cm pieces.
  3. Next we cut the onion into rings.
  4. We are assembling the salad on a plate. We will put all the ingredients in a source or plate the tomato and between each piece we put some slices of fresh mozarella cheese, we add the sliced ​​or chopped onion.
  5. We wash the basil leaves and chop it, you can use dried basil.
  6. We dress the salad by adding the chopped basil leaves, olives, salt and olive oil.
  7. We can put a little vinegar and pepper to taste.
  8. The amounts of everything can be varied according to one you like and depending on how many people there are.
