And because eco-sandwich? Well, because we often leave little things around that we don't know what to do later, at least it usually happens to me: If I have half a tomato, a piece of onion, I have some hamburgers that were left over from dinner ... I always look for myself some fix with these little leftovers and, in this case, I opted for a sandwich very quick and rich.
Degree of difficulty: Very easy
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ingredients per sandwich:
- Burgers already cooked
- A piece of onion
- Medium tomato
- A bit of olive oil
The first thing we will do is heat a little olive oil and cook the julienned onion over low heat, until it turns a golden color.
Then we heat the hamburgers (I gave them a couple of turns with the onion), toast the bread for best results and cut the tomato into slices. We place all the ingredients inside the sandwich and that's it.
When serving ...
You can give it a British touch by accompanying it with potato chips.
Recipe suggestions:
- You can add many more ingredients, it all depends on what you have left over from any other preparation such as: If you have leftovers chicken you can cut it into pieces, into cubes, into strips ... In any way that might look good. If you have a piece of carrot you can add it grated. You can still use a little corn, lettuce, mushrooms, etc. You just have to find a good combination of ingredients and enjoy.
- If you wish you can add some salsa.
The best…
Any leftover you have in the fridge will be used to prepare a eco-sandwich or a eco-salad Do not forget!.
