Cod and zucchini pie

Today we are going to prepare a cod and zucchini pie. A good plate of cod accompanied by vegetables and baked gratin.

Cod goes well with any dish, I love it, I like to try with other ingredients and try recipes, in Portugal you eat a lot of cod and there they say there are 365 recipes for cod, one for each day, I still have a lot to try :)

This recipe is very good, with the zucchini and the cream it is very juicy. You will surely like it !!!

Ingredients
  • 250 gr. desalted cod
  • 1 cebolla
  • 2-3 zucchini (500gr.)
  • 2 garlic
  • Parsley
  • A little liquid cream to cook
  • Grated cheese

Preparation
  1. First we prepare the ingredients. Chop the garlic and parsley, cut the onion into small pieces, cut the zucchini into finite slices and cut the desalted cod into pieces or strips.
  2. In a frying pan we will sauté with a little oil, the cod, the minced garlic and the parsley. We booked.
  3. In another pan with oil, we will fry the chopped onion.
  4. When it begins to take color we will add the zucchini cut into thin slices.
  5. We will let it fry everything well and take a golden color together with the onion. Then we will add the cod that we have sautéed with the garlic and parsley.
  6. We sauté it all together and taste for salt. We will leave it until everything is well cooked. About 5-8 minutes.
  7. When we see that everything is well cooked and mixed, we will add a splash of liquid cream, about 50ml. We mix it and remove it from the heat.
  8. We will put it in a source or in individual casseroles.
  9. We will cover it with grated cheese.
  10. We put the oven at 180ºC or the grill.
  11. We gratin it, when it is golden we take it out.
  12. And ready to eat!!!
  13. A delicious dish.
