Sausage Coca, all the Mediterranean flavor in your mouth
This weekend I've been experimenting new flavors and recipes to share them with you and you. And, I have loved a very traditional recipe but with very Mediterranean flavors. The coca, a typical recipe from Catalonia has been my inspiration to make a new coca with very deep flavors, such as chorizo and bacon.
This coke can become a big cap of any tavern or bar, but also in a family or informal recipe with friends. Thus, we put aside the typical purchased pizzas and make simple recipes with a lot of flavor with them.
Ingredients
- Coca mass.
- Sausage.
- bacon.
- 2-3 small tomatoes.
- Pitted olives.
- Semi-cured cheese.
Preparation
First of all, we will make our coca mass. To do this, you just have to follow the link that I have put in the ingredients. It is a very simple and quick dough to make, so you will have no problem making it.
As this dough has to ferment to be able to use it again, while, we go cutting our ingredients. First, we will cut, remove the skin from the chorizo and cut it into small dice trying to make it crumbled.
Then, we will cut our bacon into slices thin and elongated. In addition, we will cut several tomato slices depending on how many cocas you plan to make and, finally, we will prepare the green olives.
When the dough has fermented, the we will stretch with a roller, as fine as we can. We will place a base of tomato slices and then the other ingredients.
To finish, we will put it in the preheated oven at 200ºC for about 10 minutes approximately. This mass must have a crunchy point to be a coca.
