Ingredients
- 2 rectangular sheets of puff pastry
- Chocolate or cocoa cream (Nocilla, Nutella…)
- Nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts...
- 100 gr. icing sugar
Preparation
- We turn the oven to 180ºC with heat up and down.
- We will start by rolling out the puff pastry. Cover the entire puff pastry base with the cocoa cream without reaching the ends. We chop the dried fruits.
- We put the nuts in the chocolate cream, cover with the other puff pastry.
- We will roll the dough until it forms a roll, taking care that the filling does not come out. We pass the roll to the oven source, we will put a sheet of paper, you can put the one that has the puff pastry. Once rolled up we take one end and squeeze it to close it. With a knife we will make a cut in the middle of the roll, we will cut until we reach the end that is closed.
- We will start making the braid, we will go from one side to the other one of the dough strips trying to make the open part stay up. Put the braid in the oven and leave until the braid is golden, about 15-20 minutes. When it's done, let it cool.
- While it cools, prepare the glaze. In a bowl put the icing sugar and add water little by little until it looks like a cream. Start by adding 2 tablespoons of water, then add one tablespoon at a time.
- We cover the braid with the icing and we will have it ready to eat!!! delicious!!!
