Chicken skewers have a simple marinade but with a lot of flavor, it is what gives the point to this simple dish. You can add other spices apart from turmeric and even use other meat, but with chicken it is healthier.

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 250 gr. of brown rice
- 1 teaspoon turmeric or curry
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Pepper

Preparation
- To prepare the chicken skewers with brown rice, we will start by cutting the chicken into small pieces. We put it in a bowl.
- Peel and cut the garlic, add it to the chicken, add the turmeric, cumin, pepper and salt. Add a good jet of oil and mix all the ingredients well.
- We let it marinate at room temperature for a couple of hours, we will stir.
- We can also leave it in the fridge overnight until the next day.
- On the other hand we prepare the rice, we put a saucepan with plenty of water, when it starts to boil we add the rice and a little salt. We let it cook until ready.
- When the rice is ready, remove the water and drain it well.
- We insert the chicken on skewers, put a griddle or pan with a little oil and make the chicken, turning it over so that it is done on all sides.
- When the chicken skewers are ready, in the same pan or griddle, add a little oil and sauté the rice.
- We put the rice in a bowl and serve the skewers on top of the rice.
