Chicken rice

Today we are going to prepare a chicken rice, a simple dish that always triumphs. Rice admits many variants, so we can do it in different ways. The one that I propose today is with chicken breast cut into small pieces, a very good dish that everyone likes and accompanied by a salad is a complete dish.

I have used chicken broth, it gives it a very good flavorBut if you don't have it, you can add water, the chicken gives a good flavor and if we make a good stir-fry, the rice will come out good. The amount of broth is double that of rice, but if you like it a little more soupy, add a little more, so it is juicier and being chicken is better.

Ingredients
  • 300gr. of rice
  • 1 or 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 liter of chicken broth or water approx.
  • ½ onion
  • ½ green pepper
  • 6 tablespoons of tomato puree
  • 1 pot of peas
  • A little saffron
  • Sal Island

Preparation
  1. In the paella pan that we are going to use, we put a little oil, we will fry the onion and the chopped pepper, we let it poach, then we will put the crushed tomato, we leave it for a few minutes to sauté everything together, to be a good fried, well poached .
  2. We cut the chicken breasts into small pieces, we toss them together with the sauce, we sauté them with all the sauce.
  3. Add the rice, stir it with the sauce and the breasts, cover with the broth or water (the amount of broth is double that of rice), add a little salt, saffron and peas. When the broth begins to boil, we let it cook for 15 minutes, or we leave it until it is cooked to your liking. We will taste for salt.
  4. When it is we put some strips of red pepper. We turn off and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. And ready to serve !!!
