Today cupcakes, or muffins with frosting, and the cakes pops, or sponge cake lollipops, They are having a lot of place in celebrations and children's parties. These American recipes are going strong in our country so you have to make an effort to learn them because they are delicious.

In this case, we have opted for cake pops, delicious rounded biscuit lollipops in which we bathe it with different chocolates and decorate according to taste. This recipe is super simple and is the basic for all pops cakes.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs.
  • 250 g of creamy butter.
  • 250 g of normal white sugar.
  • 250 g of pastry flour.
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.
  • Food coloring.

For decor:

  • Lollipop sticks.
  • White chocolate.
  • Dark chocolate.
  • Water.
  • Colored noodles.

Preparation

First, we will make the dough for our caupcakes. For this, it is important that the butter is creamy But do not heat it in the microwave, but leave it outside at room temperature so that it completely loses its cold.

In a large bowl we will arrange the butter in small cubes and, with electric or manual rods, we will beat it a little at low power since it could splash. Once it's crumbled we will add the sugar and we will beat again until we get a whitish mixture.

Then, we will incorporate the eggs one by one so that they are better integrated into this mixture and we will continue beating. so that I mount everything well, but not too much.

Finally, we will add the vanilla essence and flour little by little and we will mix it with a tongue, spatula or mixing spoon with enveloping movements, then we will separate this mixture into two equal halves and we will dye it with food coloring according to taste.

We will put this in a pastry bag and put it in the special mold for Lékué cake pops. We will put it in the preheated oven at 175ºC for about 20 minutes. After baking, we will remove the balls from the mold and remove the small border that forms in the central part.

Later, we will melt the two chocolates in a bain-marie and we will take the cake pops sticks, we will dip them a little in the different chocolates and we will introduce them in the balls of pops cakes that we have left. We will put the refrigerator and let the chocolate harden.

Finally, we will bathe each lollipop on the chocolates and we will decorate it with the chocolate noodles or with lines of chocolate of a different color than the base. This is to your liking.
