I do not know why, in terms of drinks I have always tried to innovate more than in food recipes. Perhaps because perhaps less is lost if something goes wrong… But this time it didn't! And I was able to enjoy a rich and ice cream banana, coffee and rum sorbet, although the temperature did not accompany this weekend in the peninsula.
If you like cold drinks and different flavors, here is the recipe for how I prepared this special sorbet. I hope you like it as much as I do!
Banana, coffee and rum sorbet
A frozen sorbet looks good especially in warm seasons like spring and summer, but if you are in the warmth of a fireplace or stove in winter it also tastes just as good.

Ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 200 ml of semi-skimmed milk
- 1 teaspoon soluble coffee
- 50 ml of aged rum
- Pinch of brown sugar
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- 2 crushed ice
Preparation
- In a plastic container, the first thing we will add will be the milk, specifically 200 ml of semi-skimmed milk.
- The next thing will be to take the bananas cut into pieces and we will proceed to beat.
- When the bananas are well beaten, we will add the rest of the ingredients except for the cinnamon, that is: the teaspoon of soluble coffee, the brown sugar and the 50 ml of rum (in my case it was Cacique rum, but I think that with Legendario rum it would have been even richer as it was a somewhat sweeter rum) . We beat it well and the resulting mixture is added to a glass that will contain two whole or chopped ice, as was my case, to drink it with a straw.
- Above, as a decoration, we will add a little ground cinnamon.
- And ready! Frozen sorbet prepared to taste ...
