We start the day in Cooking Recipes preparing a nutritious breakfast for banana, pear smoothie and almond milk. A simple and quick alternative to start the day with energy for which we only need four ingredients and a food processor.

Given the great variety of fruits that we enjoy in summer, we can afford to prepare a different smoothie every day. Today, however, we have not resorted to fruits that we can have all year round. We have also substituted milk for a vegetable almond drink, so that the lactose intolerant and all those who do not include dairy in their diet can enjoy it.

Ingredients
  • 2 frozen ripe bananas
  • 2 frozen peeled conference pears
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 cups of vegetable almond drink
  • 1 ripe banana to decorate

Preparation
  1. We remove the bananas and pears from the freezer and put them in the blender glass along with ground ginger and almond drink. We work until we achieve a smooth mixture.
  2. We divide the mixture into two glasses and decorate with some pieces of ripe banana.
  3. We incorporate some oatmeal if we are going to have it as breakfast (optional)
