The perfect complement to this sponge cake it's the chocolate pearls and the hint of walnuts. The result is a tasty, delicious, juicy and irresistible sweet. Ingredients
  • 250 gr of pastry flour
  • 1 sachet of baking powder (about two teaspoons)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 140 g sugar
  • 50 ml of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 100 gr of dark chocolate pearls
  • nuts

Preparation
  1. First of all, preheat the oven to about 190 degrees, so it will be ready while we prepare the dough.
  2. Now, we are going to peel and mash the bananas with a fork and reserve.
  3. Mix the flour, with the pinch of salt and yeast and sift over a large container.
  4. In a separate bowl we put the eggs and sugar and beat with a few rods until they begin to whiten.
  5. Then we add the milk and butter and mix well.
  6. We incorporate the previous mixture to the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula, it is not necessary to beat the dough.
  7. Once the ingredients are well incorporated, add the banana puree and mix well.
  8. To finish, add the chocolate pearls to taste and stir.
  9. We will need a cake mold and a sheet of greaseproof paper to line it.
  10. Once the mold is ready, we turn over the cake dough.
  11. We place some whole walnuts on top.
  12. Before putting the cake in the oven, we give a couple of strokes with the mold on the countertop, so we will remove the air.
  13. Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out completely clean.
