Asparagus quiche

Quiche is a simple, quick and homemade recipe, with a base of shortcrust pastry or puff pastry. We can prepare it for an informal dinner and have it prepared in advance. And for children it is a way to eat vegetables and a very complete dish.

Ingredients
  • A bunch of green asparagus 250gr.
  • 250 ml. evaporated milk or liquid cream for cooking
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100 gr. grated parmesan cheese or whatever you like
  • 200gr. from bacon to cubes
  • A puff pastry
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation
  1. We turn on the oven at 180ºC.
  2. While we prepare the asparagus, we clean and cut them, removing the hardest part, we cut the tips and the rest we cut into pieces.
  3. In a frying pan with oil, we fry the asparagus, when they are tender we remove them. We booked.
  4. Sauté the bacon in the same pan. We booked.
  5. In a bowl we put the eggs we beat, the cream we beat, we put a little salt and pepper.
  6. We mix it and add the asparagus and bacon to the egg mixture, stir and put the grated cheese, mix everything well.
  7. We spread the dough on a baking tin, if it is removable better, we pour all the mixture over the dough, put the asparagus on top and put it in the oven.
  8. We will bake about 40 minutes or until ready. To know if the cake is curd, we will click in the center, if it comes out dry it will be ready.
  9. And ready to eat !!!
  10. A cake that we can eat hot or cold.
