The other day thinking about some of the skewers and appetizers that I have eaten in various enclaves, one of those delicious chopsticks with bacon and dates came to mind. Sweet and salty in the same bite, an experience that I love.
And after looking in the fridge and seeing that there were not some ingredients, I decided to take advantage of the bacon and a little quince paste, to be able to make a similarity. So today we are going to prepare a skewer of bacon with quince.
As we always buy some things if we need them and we organize the time to be able to elaborate them.
Degree of Difficulty: Easy
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- bacon
- quince jam
- chopsticks
How do you see the ingredients They are simple and also I have not put amounts since it will depend on how many you want to elaborate.
We start cutting the bacon slices in half and the quince in pieces, so many chunks for so many bacon halves.
Now we roll them up, the sweet with the slice and we prick it with the toothpick so that they do not escape us.
We put a pan to heat and add the skewers to brown them to taste. In my case just a little heat and gold, but without overdoing it.
We already have the skewer, the function is the same, sweet with salty, delicious. I can only wish you good luck.
Enjoy the workmanship and the contrasts.
Very good ideas
