- 4- 5 medium potatoes.
- Butter.
- 300 g of bacon.
- Olive oil.
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- Thyme.
- Oregano.
- Nutmeg.
Preparation
To make this recipe from sautéed potatoes with bacon and spices, first we will cut and wash the potatoes very well. Next, we will cut them into 1-2 cm thick slices and place them on a tray on absorbent paper.
Then we will place a small butter nut on all the potato slices and put them in the microwave for 1 min. When removing them, we will add the spices: salt, oregano, pepper, thyme and nutmeg. Be careful with the nutmeg as it would add a lot of flavor, so just add a little.
Then we will cut the bacon In strips or in fine squares and we will sauté them in olive oil in a frying pan on high heat. When we see that the bacon begins to be done, we add the potatoes and lower the heat to medium.
Finally, we will leave them cook for 10 min or until we see that they are tender. At the same time it is done, give it a sauté from time to time so that the potato is done on both sides.
