Cuttlefish in hot sauce. A delicious dish with a bread dipping sauce. Rich and simple fish dish that is just as good as a starter, starter or appetizer. If you like spicy, you just have to add 1-2 chili peppers in pieces in the sauce to give more flavor.
I have used medium-sized cuttlefish, but it can be used with large cuttlefish as it cooks well and is tender, it can also be made with small cuttlefish and cooked whole.
A simple, rich and quick dish to prepare, with very few ingredients we have a good dish that, accompanied by white rice or some vegetables or peas, is very complete.
Whenever I do it, it is sure success.

Ingredients
- 2-3 medium cuttlefish
- 1 cebolla
- 2 garlic clove
- 150 m. white wine
- Crushed tomato 500 gr.
- Water glass 1
- 1-2 cayenne or chilli (optional)

Preparation
- To prepare the cuttlefish in hot sauce, we will start by cleaning the cuttlefish, cut it into medium pieces.
- We put a casserole with a good jet of oil, when it is hot we sauté the cuttlefish. We take out and reserve.
- Chop the onion and garlic. In the same casserole where we have sautéed the cuttlefish, we add a little more oil and fry it until it begins to take color.
- When it starts to brown, add the cayenne pieces. We stir and leave a couple of minutes.
- Add the fried tomato, let it cook for 5 minutes. Add the white wine, leave it for a couple of minutes to evaporate the alcohol.
- Then we add a glass of water and the cuttlefish. If we cook it in a fast pot, we will leave it for 10 minutes from when the steam starts to come out, if it is in a traditional casserole we let it cook until the cuttlefish is tender for about 20-30 minutes.
- When it is we taste of salt. If the sauce will be very liquid, let it cook a little more, the sauce has to be reduced and be a little thick.
- And it will be ready to eat !!!
