Yes, we return to the cauliflower! I'm sorry if you don't like it but the garden has been generous and there is nothing to waste. So I'm back with a cauliflower recipe, this time a lemon salmon with cauliflower and broccoli that eats itself A delicious and quick seasonal recipe.
I love the roasted vegetables, much more than cooked for its crunchy texture. For this reason, I almost always cook them as in this recipe, baked and with some spice. Thus they are golden, crunchy and tasty and are ideal to accompany any meat, fish or pasta. Try them!
These vegetables do not take more than 20 minutes to make. The broccoli is usually done before so my advice is that you either put it in a little later or take it out five minutes before, you choose! And while the oven works, all you have to do is prepare the lemon salmon on a griddle or skillet. Shall we get with the recipe?
The recipe
- 1 broccoli
- ½ cauliflower
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 2 slices of salmon
- 1 small lemon
- We preheat the oven to 190ºC.
- In a baking dish place the cauliflower and broccoli in bite size florets.
- We drizzle with the oil, salt and pepper and add the garlic powder and turmeric. Then, we mix well with our hands so that all the cauliflower and broccoli pieces are well impregnated.
- We take to the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Then we look at how the broccoli is and if it is how we like it, we take it out.
- We continue cooking the cauliflower 5 more minutes raising the oven to 200ºC.
- We take advantage of those 5 minutes to cook salmon seasoned on a griddle or greased skillet. Cook over high heat on one side for about 3 minutes and then turn over and add the lemons to the grill or pan.
- we take out the salmon when it is golden and cooked and we place it in the oven tray with the cauliflower and broccoli to serve.
- We enjoyed the lemon salmon with roasted cauliflower and broccoli.
