Rich fish meatballs in tomato sauce

Fish meatballs with tomato

To enjoy this Sunday with joy, I have brought you these delicious fish meatballs in tomato sauce, so that you eat in a healthy way. It is also a very good way to start giving children this type of food so that they eat fish without realizing it.

Sometimes feeding the little ones with new foods causes some rejection, so these foods are essential to eat everything, so the children try new things and contribute with them the necessary nutrients for your body.

Ingredients

  • 2 whiting loins.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • Salt
  • Parsley.
  • 1 egg.
  • Bread crumbs.
  • Stale bread.
  • Milk.
  • Fried tomato pot.

Preparation

To make these delicious meatballs in tomato sauce, first we will make the meatball dough. To do this, we will take the two loins of whiting and cut it into very small cubes. This type of fish is very helpful on many occasions and suits everything, but if you want you can choose the one you like the most.

When we have the fish very minced, we will also mince the garlic cloves. In addition, we will soak the stale bread in milk. In a bowl, we will add the fish, garlic, egg, salt, parsley and bread soaked in milk (this must be well drained), and we will stir everything well.

If we see that the dough is homogeneous and we can make the typical balls of meatballs, it will not be necessary to add the bread crumbs. However, they were somewhat loose for me, so I added a little to make them more consistent and not stick too much to my hands.

When we have the mixture of the meatballs, I advise you to put them in the refrigerator at rest for at least 1 hour. Thus, all the flavors will mix.

Once this time has passed, we will take small portions and we will give them the shape of balls, which we will pass through a little flour.

Finally, we will fry them in a lot of very hot olive oil. Besides, we will heat a can of fried tomato and we will sauce the meatballs on top. Or, if you prefer to make a natural tomato sauce, that would also be very good. I hope you like this recipe for fish meatballs in tomato sauce.
