Pickled mussel pate very easy!
This pate is great for serve as a starter or to use in sandwiches. Creamy and juicy, it is very easy and quick to make. In 5 minutes you can have it on the table after mixing its three ingredients, ingredients that are easy to have in the pantry.
Mussels and tuna are the main ingredients of this homemade pate; cheese is used to give it creaminess and smoothness. Serve as a starter with a few slices of toast and garnish with a sprig of rosemary. Simple and inexpensive, right? Complete the tray with these delicious canapes from cheese and smoked salmon, a classic.
Ingredients
Makes 6-8 slices of bread
- 1 small can of pickled mussels
- 1 small can of tuna in olive oil
- 3 cheeses
Crafting
We incorporate the mussels and 3/4 of the marinade to the blender glass.
Then add the tuna (previously drained) and the diced cheeses.
We beat all the ingredients until obtaining a homogeneous paste.
Once the pate is made, we place it in the bowl in which we are going to serve it and we refrigerate 1/2 hour.
We can serve it on some slices of toast and with a few leaves of rosemary to garnish.
Notes
You will have to keep it in the fridge. It will last you up to 3 days if you close it hermetically.
