At this time of year it is common to refresh and hydrate with the typical ice cream and snow poles. In the market and in ice cream parlors the idea of ​​making different and succulent aphrodisiac and banguardian flavors has increased, thus giving it a more sophisticated and attractive touch.

In this way, we wanted to surprise you today with this delicious dessert for summer. A delicious ice cream made with a traditional dessert of Spanish gastronomy, the rice pudding. It is very easy to make and does not deviate much from the traditional recipe.

Ingredients

  • 800 ml of milk.
  • 300 ml of whipping cream.
  • Orange or lemon peel.
  • Cinnamon stick.
  • 100 g of sugar.
  • 100 g of rice.

Preparation

First of all, we will have to do the typical rice pudding traditional. To do this, we will put the milk in a saucepan together with the cinnamon stick and the orange or lemon peel. In addition, we will put the cream and the rice and let it cook, stirring from time to time so that the rice does not stick.

After 30 minutes of cooking we will add the sugar and we will let it cook for another 10-15 minutes, continuing to stir and making sure that the rice does not run out of broth. Remove and let it temper.

Finally, we will transfer this rice pudding to a blender glass and add a little more milk and cream. We will crush well and then we will pass it through a food mill or strainer so that it is a fine cream. We will distribute this into individual molds and put it in the freezer until it hardens.

Note

For take out of the mold, put them on a small frying pan or saucepan with boiling water, pass the edges with a lace and turn them over. Decorate with ground cinnamon and melted chocolate.
